He was born August 8, 1905 in the town of Norrie, the son of the late Alex and Mary (King) Stoltz.
Edward was united in marriage to Ardis (Claxton) Blarek on October 24, 1953 in Milwaukee. She survives.
In addition to his wife, survivors include one son, Scott (Bobbie Kurszewski) Stoltz, Hatley; one step-daughter, Margaret (George) Hoffman, Eland; one step-daughter-in-law, Louise Blarek, Franklin; two grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; seven step-grandchildren and several step-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Peter Stoltz, Eland, Joe (Lillian) Stoltz, Birnamwood and Ernest (Beverly) Stoltz, Wittenberg; one sister, Verna Stoltz, Milwaukee; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Edward was preceded in death by four brothers, Leo, Roman, Victor and Phillip, three sisters, Martha, Regina and Dorothy, and one step-son, Dominic Blarek.
Funeral services were held March 28, 1998 at St. William Catholic Church, Eland. The Rev. Claude Zabinski, OFM officiated. Interment was in Holy Family Catholic Cemetery, Wittenberg.

Joseph J. Stoltz, age 89, of Birnamwood died Saturday, Oct. 27, 2007 at Langlade Memorial Hospital, Antigo. He was born on July 30, 1918 in the town of Norrie, the son of the late Alex and Mary (King) Stoltz. On Nov. 30, 1946, Joseph was united in marriage to Lillian Falstad in Wausau. She survives. Joseph and Lillian lived in Milwaukee for ten years where he worked for A.O. Smith Corporation. When he returned to the local area, he was employed at Hammer Blow Tool Company until his retirement. Joseph was a U. S. Army veteran and a lifetime member of VFW Post #388 of Wausau. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and spending time with family and friends at his trailer up north on Pine Lake. In addition to his wife Lillian of Birnamwood, he is survived by three sons: Lonny Stoltz, Eland, James (Collette) Stoltz, Hartford; and Alan Stoltz, Chippewa Falls; four grandchildren: Nicollette, Samantha Jo, Crystal and Casey; one brother: Ernest (Bev) Stoltz, Wittenberg and three sisters in law He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers and four sisters. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2007 at Schmidt-Schulta Funeral Home, Wittenberg. The Rev. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. The Rev. Mark Pierce will officiate. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Thursday at the Shuda Funeral Chapel. A bible vigil will be held at 8 p.m.

Funeral services for Teofil Malek, who died Sunday morning at his home in Polonia, were held Thurday morning at 9 o'clock at Sacred Heart church at Polonia. Rev. Leo Jankowski officiated and burial took place in the parish cemetery.
The pallbearers were John Frisch, Raymond Feltz, Louis Kuptz, Emil Formella, Harry Kuptz and Raymond Malek.
Misses Agnes Konopacki and Virginia Formella were in charge of the flowers.

Funeral services for Teofil Malek, who died Sunday morning at his home in Polonia, were held Thurday morning at 9 o'clock at Sacred Heart church at Polonia. Rev. Leo Jankowski officiated and burial took place in the parish cemetery.
The pallbearers were John Frisch, Raymond Feltz, Louis Kuptz, Emil Formella, Harry Kuptz and Raymond Malek.
Misses Agnes Konopacki and Virginia Formella were in charge of the flowers.

He joined the army on Aug. 8, 1918, serving as a private in Germany. He was with an infantry unit and was discharged April 5, 1919.
His marriage was to Martha Witkowski on Nov. 24, 1919, at St. Adalbert’s [sic] church. He worked for an aluminum company in Manitowoc until 1930, when he moved to the Rosholt area where he farmed until retiring in 1959.
Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Dennis (Irene) Wanserski, Rosholt, four sons, Donald, Rosholt, Jerome, Greendale, Richard, Minneapolis, Minn., and Joseph Jr, Rosholt; one brother, Thomas, Milwaukee; one sister Mrs. (Ray) Nettie Feltz, Manitowoc, and 16 grandchildren.
Two brothers and six sisters preceded him in death.
Mr. Malek was a member of Nelson-Kaminski Post No. 509, American Legion post, Rosholt.

She was married to Joseph Konopaki Nov. 16, 1914 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Palonia. They moved to Manitowoc in 1920 and resided here since. She was a member of the Rosary Society of St. Mary parish, Manitowoc.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Clarence and Joseph of Manitowoc, and Anthony of Menasha; four daughters, Mrs. Agnes Reimer, Mrs. Leonard (Evelyn) Trost, Mrs. Ernest (Mary Ann) Walters and Mrs. Robert (Dorothy) DeRoche of Manitowoc; three brothers, Joseph Malek of Rosholt, Wis., August of Manitowoc and Thomas of Milwaukee; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Formella of Milwaukee and Mrs. Ray Feltz of Manitowoc; 24 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday where the Rosary Society will recite the Rosary at 3:30 p.m. A second rosary will be recited at 7:15 p.m. Sunday by members of the parish and friends.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. at Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church at Milwaukee. Burial will be made in a cemetery there.
The body is at the Wendler Funeral Home at 20th St. and W. Capitol Dr., in Milwaukee.
Mr. Formella was born in Polonia, a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Formella. He was a veteran of World War I and served in France. He married Anna Malek of Rosholt and they lived for a time in that village where Mr. Formella operated a blacksmith shop. They moved to Milwaukee about 25 years ago.
