She enjoyed playing cards and crocheting.
Survivors include three step-daughters, Charlene (John) Gosbee, Racine, Kay (John) Worzalla, Stevens Point, and Susan Kabat, Madison; one stepson Peter Kabat, Stevens Point; three sisters, Regina Martini, Stevens Point, Dorothy (Carl) Roehr, Sussex, and Janet Kluck, Milwaukee; one brother , Emil (Samantha) Kluck, Chicago; nine step grandchildren; and 10 step great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. today at Schmidt-Schulta Funeral Home, Wittenberg. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, town of Norrie, Marathon County.
Peter was born July 30, 1907, in the town of Norrie, Marathon County, the son of Alex and Mary (King) Stoltz.
He married his beloved 'Hootsie' Theresa Steinke on June 21, 1932. She preceded him in death on May 12, 1995.
Peter retired from A.O. Smith, Milwaukee, in 1972, after 32 years of faithful service.
Peter was an avid fisherman and enjoyed his retirement fishing with his sons, brothers, grandsons, nephews, and friends. Peter thoroughly enjoyed people, gardening and any work he could find to do.
Survivors include two sons, Lawrence (Laura) Stoltz and David (Linda) Stoltz, all of Milwaukee; three daughters, Gail (Darryl) Groholski, Iola, Mary Ann (Gary Urban, Milwaukee) Stoltz, Eland, and Lorraine (Tom) Cox, Chatam, Mich; 21 grandchildren and 45 great-grandchildren, two brothers, Joe (Lillian) Stoltz, Birnamwood, and Ernest (Beverly) Stoltz, Wittenberg, three sister-in-laws, Ardis, Grace and Theresa, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two daughters, Betty and Bernice; one son, Robert, two grandsons, David and Robert; five brothers and three sisters.

Mrs. Martha Malek
Mrs. Martha Malek , age 76, a resident of Polonia, for 56 years, died Saturday night at 11 o’clock at St Michael’s Hospital. She had bee seriously ill and confined to bed for the past six months and had entered the hospital three months ago.
Mrs. Malek, whose maiden name was Martha Stoltz, was born on November 1, 1865 in Poland. She came to this country alone at age 16 to join her brother, August Stoltz, who had previously come to this country and located at Torun. She made her home with an aunt, Mrs. John Konopacki in Hull until her marriage to Teofil Malek 56 years ago when the couple located at the present farm home at Polonia. Mr. Malek died November 4, 1934.
Surviving are nine of the 11 children born to the couple. They are: Mrs. John Frisch of Chippewa Falls, Mrs. Louise Kuptz of Milwaukee, Joseph Malek of Rosholt, Mrs. Joe Konopacki of Manitowoc, Mrs. Emil Formella of Milwaukee, August Malek of Manitowoc, Edward Malek of Milwaukee, Mrs. Ray Feltz of Manitowoc and Thomas Malek at home. She had two brothers, August and Alois Stoltz, 40 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Two children died in infancy.
Mrs. Malek was a member of the Rosary society of Sacred Heart Catholic church in Polonia.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 9 o’clock at Sacred Heart Church and burial will follow in the parish cemetery. The body is at Prias funeral home where the rosary will be said tonight and Tuesday night at 8 o’clock. The funeral cortege will leave the funeral home Wednesday morning at 8:30 o’clock.

Mr. Stoltz is survived by his wife; seven sons, Edward and Peter, Milwaukee, Roman, Leo, Joseph and Ernest, Norrie, and Phillip, 1529 Strongs Ave; two daughters, Mrs. Ernest (Regina) Barwick and Miss Verna Stoltz, Milwaukee; 33 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.
Two daughters and a son preceded him in death.
