Marguerite Schipporeit, 79, 635 E. Park Ave., Tomahawk, died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 1993, at her home.
She was born in Tomahawk on March 18, 1914, to the late Edgar and Vena Thielman. Her husband, George Shipporeit, preceded her in death in 1973.
Mrs. Schipporeit was a lifelong Tomahawk resident. She was a member of the Tuesday Club, former member of the Order if Eastern Star and a former president of the Faculty Wives Club of LaFayette College, Easton, Penn.
Surviving are two sons, Gary, Rhinelander, and Terry, New Bern, N.C; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday morning at Krueger & Sons Funeral Home, the Rev. Gary Uttech officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery.

     Elizabeth Smith was born on 28 January 1874 at Town of Sharon, Portage Co, WI.¹ She was the daughter of Peter Smith and Elizabeth Simonis. Elizabeth Smith married Mathias (Matt) Eiden, son of Peter M. Eiden-Mitschen and Katharina Stiewer, on 23 August 1900 at Custer, Portage Co, WI.¹ Elizabeth Smith died on 3 February 1935 at Hansen Clinic, Stevens Point, Portage Co, WI, at age 61.¹

     Walter Eiden was the son of Mathias (Matt) Eiden and Elizabeth Smith. Walter Eiden died on 19 February 1969.

     Edward Eiden was the son of Mathias (Matt) Eiden and Elizabeth Smith. Edward Eiden died in August 1975.

     Cyril Eiden was the son of Mathias (Matt) Eiden and Elizabeth Smith. Cyril Eiden died on 5 December 1966.

     Susan (?) married Leo A Eiden, son of Nicholas Eiden and Mary Ann Mersch. Susan (?) was born on 25 September 1896. She died on 31 October 1980 at Deer Park, St. Croix Co, WI, at age 84.

     Elizabeth (Lizzie) Eiden was born on 25 October 1884 at Town of New Hope, Portage Co, WI. She was the daughter of Peter M. Eiden-Mitchen and Margaret May Schmitt. Elizabeth (Lizzie) Eiden died on 4 April 1902 at Portage Co, WI, at age 17.

     Walter Ellenz married Gertrude Eiden, daughter of Adam Eiden and Anna Smith, on 29 September 1945 at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, Stevens Point, Portage Co, WI. Walter Ellenz died on 8 August 1995.
