     Lawrence Eiden was born on 7 June 1903 at Stevens Point, Portage Co, WI. He was the son of Peter John Eiden and Margaret Pohl. Lawrence Eiden died in February 1972 at Wausau, Marathon Co, WI, at age 68.

Lawrence Eiden, 68, 709 1/2 Prespect Ave., Wausau, died today at 3:30 a.m. in a Wausau nursing home.

Funeral service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Peterson Funeral home, and at 10;30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, both in Wausau. The Rev. Thomas Mannion will officiate, and burial will be in St Joseph's Cemetery, Stevens Point, in the spring. Friends may call Sunday after 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home, where a parish rosary will be said Sundat at 7:30 p.m.

Mr. Eiden was born June 7, 1903, in Stevens Point, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter J. Eiden. He was a retired farmer and had lived in Wausau the past 19 years.

Survivors include a son, Francis, Abbotsford; two brothers, Peter 709 1/2 Prospect Ave., Wausau, and Frank, Yuma, Ariz; three sisters, Miss Clara Eiden, 709 1/2 Prospect Ave., Wausau, Sister Clarine, Park Falls, Miss Catherine Eiden, Denver, Colo; and five grandchildren.

     Peter J. Eiden Jr. was born in 1887. He was the son of Peter John Eiden and Margaret Pohl.

     Sebastian Stoltz was born in 1777. He married Marianna Gostkowska. Sebastian Stoltz died on 16 September 1853.

     Kathyrn Boyer married Myron Giese, son of Louis Giese and Margaret Eiden, on 26 August 1935 at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, Stevens Point, Portage Co, WI. Kathyrn Boyer died on 8 February 1956 at Stevens Point, Portage Co, WI.

     Clara Eiden was the daughter of Adam Eiden and Anna Smith. Clara Eiden died on 3 February 1975.

     Gertrude Eiden was born on 29 September 1908 at Portage Co, WI. She was the daughter of Adam Eiden and Anna Smith. Gertrude Eiden married Walter Ellenz on 29 September 1945 at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, Stevens Point, Portage Co, WI. Gertrude Eiden died on 29 November 2001 at St. Michael's Hospital, Stevens Point, Portage Co, WI, at age 93.

Gertrude Ellenz

Gertrude Ellenz, 93, 2865 Water St., Stevens Point, died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2001, at St. Michael's Hospital.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Stephen Catholic Church, with the Rev. Dan Kozlowski officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. Saturday until the services. A general rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Friday.

Mrs. Ellenz was born Sept. 29, 1908, in Portage County, a daughter of the late Adam and Anna (Smith) Eiden.

She was married to Walter Ellenz on Sept. 29, 1945, at St. Stephen Catholic Church. He died Aug. 8, 1995.

Survivors include one daughter, Mary Lou (Ray) Stoltz, Whiting; one son, John (Kate) Ellenz, Whiting; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

     Ada Eiden was the daughter of Adam Eiden and Anna Smith. Ada Eiden died on 29 April 1972.

     Marianna Gostkowska was born in 1789. She married Sebastian Stoltz. Marianna Gostkowska died on 6 October 1849.

     Ben Fischer was born in 1889. He married Frances Koltz, daughter of John Koltz and Helena (Lena) Eiden, in 1937.
