Elbert officiated at the double ring service before the altars decorated with white flowers, and Sister Henrietta played the wedding march from "Lohengrin." During the ceremony, Miss Irene Buzza of Milwaukee sang "Ave Marie." The bride's sister, Miss Florence Sweek, was maid of honor, Miss Alice Falkavage, sister of the groom, and Miss Mae Buzza of Milwaukee were the bridesmaids, and the groom was attended by Edmund Sweek, the bride's brother, and his brother, Frank Falkavage. The bride wore an elaborate gown of white taffeta, made in Colonial style with a tight bodice and a bouffant skirt trimmed with white tulle ruffles edged with silver. A corsage of white silk flowers marked the waist line. The net veil, edged with lace, was very long, with shoulder caps and a cap shaped headdress caught with a lace band and with clusters of orange blossoms over each ear. She carried a Colonial bouquet of white roses and lilies of the valley, edged with a wide ruffle of white lace and tied with a bow of the same lace. The Colonial style was also followed in the gowns of the three attendants, which were made exactly alike of georgette, with gold lace cap sleeves, bouffant skirts shirred with gold thread, and shoulder flowers. The maid of honor wore a pastel green with gold shoulder flowers, while the two bridesmaids wore a pastel yellow, with flowers to match. They all wore picturesque picture hats of silk horse-hair braid, matching their gowns, trimmed with long black velvet streamers. Their Colonial bouquets were edged with lace ruffles and were tied with big bows of tulle matching their gowns. The maid of honor's was fashioned of pink carnations and sweet peas and baby breath, while the bridesmaids' were made of pink carnations and orchid sweet peas. After the ceremony, a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents, which was decorated in the colors of the wedding party, white, yellow and green. Breakfast, luncheon and dinner were served to 35 families. Among the out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Buzza, Misses Mae, Irene and Bernadine Buzza and Michael Sweek of Milwaukee and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bernardski and daughter, Barbara, of Washburn. The bride and groom will reside at 320 Franklin Street after a motor trip of 10 days through northern Wisconsin, Michigan and Minnesota.
