Grant married Melvern Ellsworth Jacklin on 31 December 1934 at Town of Buena Vista, Portage Co, WI.^6,5 Athol A. Grant died on 23 June 2000 at St. Michael's Hospital, Stevens Point, Portage Co, WI, at age 89.⁵ She was buried on 3 July 2000 at Restlawn Memorial Park, Grand Rapids, Wood Co, WI.⁵

Everett Neal Grant married Fern House on 5 June 1948 at St. James Catholic Church, Wausau, Marathon Co, WI.⁴ Everett Neal Grant died on 23 June 2004 at Wausau, Marathon Co, WI, at age 77.^2,5

Everett served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include one son, John (Linda) Grant, Wausau; one daughter, Barbara (Jim) Bartsch, Dryden, N.Y; six grandchildren; and one sister, Marian Dakins, Plover.

Services will be at noon Saturday at Helke Funeral Home, Wausau. Burial will be in Plover Cemetery, village of Plover. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday and again Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.

Louis James Grant, born March 14, 1922, three months and eights day of age and a son of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Grant of the town of Plover, died at the family home Thursday evening at 7 o'clock and was buried in the Plover cemetery Saturday afternoon. Funeral services were conducted at 2 o'clock at the house by Rev. E. Leuenberger. The little boy leaves to mourn his death two sisters and one brother, Grace Marion, Athol and Forest, besides his parents.
