Services for Frank Aron, 72, Rt. 1 Nekoosa, were held today at Taylor Funeral Home. He lived in the Babcock area most of his life.
Mr. Aron died at 5:30 p.m. Friday at Riverview Hospital following a lingering illness.
Rev. Charles Hiebi officiating at services and burial was Babcock Community Cemetery.
Mr. Aron was born Aug 25, 1903, in the town of Carson, Portage county, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Aron. He worked as a laborer in cranberry marshes.
Surviving are six brothers; Walter and Edward, both of Wisconsin Rapids, Leo, Galesville, Dominic and Steve, both of Nekoosa, and Nick, Babcock. Two sisters, Mrs. Stacia Trickle and Mrs. Agnes Baer, both of Pittsville.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 o’clock Wednesday morning at All Satins Catholic church, Babcock, for Severa F. Aron, 44, Pittsville, Star route, a native of Portage county, who died at 12:30 o’clock Saturday afternoon at St. Joseph’s hospital, Marshfield.
A veteran of World war two, he spent over three years with the army in Pacific campaigns.
Rev Robert Platt, Pittsville, will officiate and interment will take place in the Babcock cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by Richard Soward post, Veterans of Foreign Wars, of New Miner.
Mr. Aron was born in the town of Carson on Feb. 5, 1908, a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Aron, now of rural Pittsville. He was inducted into the service on Aug 17, 1942, service as a rifleman, and was discharged Dec 31, 1945
Surviving are his parents; eight brothers, Frank and Steve, at home; Walter, town of Dexter, Wood county; Dominc and Edward, Nekoosa; Leo, Wisconsin Rapids; Bernard, Necedah, Route 1, and Ignatius of Babcock; two sisters, Mrs. Roy Trickle, Vesper, Route 1, and Mrs. George Baer, Racine.
Friends may call at the Krohn and Bernard funeral home at Wisconsin Rapids until 8:15 tomorrow morning. Prayers will be said at 8 o’clock tonight.

Stacia Aron was born on 7 November 1909 at Mill Creek, Portage Co, WI. She was the daughter of John Aron and Lillian (Lilly) Szczesny. Stacia Aron married Roy Trickle in 1927 at Waukegan, IL. Stacia Aron died on 14 October 1983 at Pittsville, Wood Co, WI, at age 73.

Mrs. Stacy Trickle, 73, Pittsville, died Friday evening at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield. She was a former Portage county resident.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Pittsville. Burial will be in Babcock cemetery, Babcock.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today and until noon Tuesday at Buchanan Funeral Home, Pittsville, and from noon until 2 p.m. at the church.
Mrs. Trickle was born Nov. 7, 1909 in Mill Creek, daughter of the late John and Lillian Aron. She attended school in Mill Creek and was married to Roy Trickle in 1927 in Waukegan. Ill. H e died June 7, 1982. Mrs. Trickle had lived in Pittsville for 36 years.
She is survived by six daughters, four sons, 24 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, four brothers and one sister. She was preceded in death by 5 brothers.

Mrs. Albert Vicker
Mrs. Albert (Hildegard E.) Vicker, 75, of 6427 Highway M. Winneconne, died Sunday morning at Mercy Medical Center following an extended illness.
She was born in Caroline on Oct. 2, 1902, Mrs. Vicker was a graduate of Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, Michigan and a nurse in the Milwaukee area for 15 years. She married Albert Vicker in Milwaukee on April 9, 1942 and they farmed in the Caroline area for five years and had farmed in the town of Winneconne sine 1950.
She was as member if the Methodist Church in Marion.
Surviving are her husband; a son, Wayne of Davie, Florida; a daughter, Mrs. Wayne (Darleen) LaPointe, Oshkosh; a brother, Dr. R.O. Ebert, Menasha; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Mueller Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Kreel officiating. Burial will be at Greenleaf Cemetery, Marion.
