John X. DULAK, 77, 1719 Oakwood Drive, town of Dewey, died Monday afternoon at St. Michael's. Hospital. He was take there earlier by ambulance after becoming ill at home.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Church in Torun with the Rev. Edwin J. STANEK officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Dzikoski Funeral home. A general rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Wednesday. Mr. DULAK was born Jan. 11, 1909, in Laona, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John DULAK. As a child he moved with his parents to the present homestead in the town of Dewey and attended schools in Dewey. He was married to the former Gertrude LEWANDOWSKI on Oct. 21, 1950, at St. Casimir's Church in the town of Hull. After their marriage, the couple farmed at the homestead with his parents until 1953 when he took over the homestead. He farmed until his retirement in 1981. Survivors include his wife; two sons, David, at home, and Leon, Plover Pointe Manor, town of Plover; five daughters, Mrs. Leanard (Bernadine) ROZAK, Fairview Village, town of Hull, Mrs. Don (Cathi) WOLDING, Nelsonville, Mrs. Robert (Dorothy) STUART, Atwater, Calif., Mrs. Charles (Delores) HARDIN, Fort Meade, Md., and Victoria, at home; three brothers, Steve, 1935 Oak St., Joseph, 3200 Water St., and Bernard, Milwaukee; nine sisters, Mrs. Angeline DANCZYK, town of Dewey, Mrs. Regina DANCZYK, town of Dewey, Mrs. Emily GONSIOROWSKI, Lac du Flambeau, Mrs. John (Helen) HELMINIAK, Manitowoc, Mrs. William (Martha) SARNA, Midlothian, Ill., Mrs. Mario (Elizabeth) Mancini, Bensenville, Ill., Mrs. Veronica ROBERTS, Maywood, Ill., Mrs. Albin (Hedwig) NAPIWOCKI, Mosinee, and Mrs. Leonard (Theresa) KING, town of Dewey; and 11 grandchildren.

Stephen B Dulak married Eleanor T Kirschling, daughter of John Germain Kirschling and Martha Klesmith, on 18 August 1945 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Polonia, Portage Co, WI. Stephen B Dulak died on 26 December 2002 at St. Michael's Hospital, Stevens Point, Portage Co, WI, at age 91.1 He was buried on 30 December 2002 at Guardian Angel Cemetery, Stevens Point, Portage Co, WI.1

Steve B. Dulak, 91, 1935 Oak St., Stevens Point, died Thursday, Dec. 26, 2002, at St. Michael's Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with the Rev. Alan Burkhardt officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Shuda Funeral Chapel and from 9 a.m. Monday at the church until the services. There will be an American Legion ritual at 6:30 p.m. Monday and a rosary prayed at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral chapel.
Various memorials will be established in his behalf in lieu of flowers.
Mr. Dulak was born Feb. 9, 1911, in the town of Dewey, a son of the late John and Martha (Szczesny) Dulak. He attended Rockland School in the town of Dewey.
He worked on the family farm until enlisting in the U.S. Army on July 6, 1942. He served at 17 camps, including Fort Meade, Md; Fort Bragg, N.C; Fort McCoy; and in Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Virginia, Italy, Germany and England while attached to the 125th General Hospital Medical Corps.
He received the American Theatre Ribbon, the European/African/Middle Eastern Theatre Ribbon and the Good Conduct Medal. He was discharged on Jan. 16, 1946.
He was married to Eleanore Kirschling on Aug. 18, 1945, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Polonia. She died Oct. 1, 1998.
The couple later settled in Stevens Point and lived at their present address for the past 42 years.
He worked at various jobs, including St. Michael's Hospital, Pagel Milling, Vetter's Mfg. and finally as a custodian at the County-City Building until his retirement in 1976.
He was a member of American Legion Post 6 for 55 years.
Survivors include two daughters, Luci (John) Lutz, Stevens Point, and Shirley (David) Mahoney, Sun Prairie; two sons, Stephen Jr. (Traci), Wisconsin Rapids, and Michael, Stevens Point; seven sisters, Helen Helminiak, Manitowoc, Regina Danczyk and Theresa (Leonard) King, both of Stevens Point, Veronica Roberts and Martha (William) Sarna, both of Chicago, Ill., Betty (Mario) Mancini, Peoria, Ariz., and Hedwig (Albin) Napiwocki, Mosinee; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Barbara Dulak; three brothers, John, Joe and Bernerd; two sisters, Angeline Danczyk and Emily Gonsiorowski; and one grandson.
