Roman Stachovak

     Roman Stachovak was born on 31 July 1874 at NY. He was the son of Chrisostomus John Stachowiak and Magdaline Szymkowiak. Roman Stachovak married Martha Laszewski, daughter of John Laszewski and Josephine Boska, on 11 November 1895 at St. Casimir Church, Town of Hull, Portage Co, WI.1 Roman Stachovak died on 13 April 1947 at Wausau, Marathon Co, WI, at age 72.

Roman Stachovak

Roman Stachovak, 72, 1204 Town Line road, died at home yesterday morning at 6:30 o'clock after tow years' illness. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 8:30 o'clock at the Barden funeral home and at 9 o'clock at St. Michael's Catholic church. The Rev. T. S. Wojak will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. The body is at the funeral home.
Mr. Stachovak was born July 31, 1874, in New York state and was married November 12, 1895, in Stevens Point to Martha Laszewski. He had lived 35 years in Wausau and was employed 27 years by the Marathon corporation.
Surviving are the widow; nine children, Frank Stachovak, 1017 Monroe street, Peter Stachovak, 518 Sherman street, Mrs. Neil Thompson, Cleveland, Ohio, and Anton, Theodore, Leo, John and Ben Stachovak, at home; two brothers, Theodore Stachovak (sp.), 2314 Sixth street, and Fred Stachovak (sp.), Stevens Point; three sisters, Mrs. Rose Rutta, Mrs. Mary Zimdauer (sp.) and Mrs. Lucy Stockwell, Stevens Point, and 16 grandchildren.

Stachovak Funeral

Funeral services for Roman Stachovak, 72, 1204 Town Line road, who dies Sunday, were held this morning at the Barden funeral home and at St. Michael's Catholic church. The Rev. T. S. Wojak officiated and burial was in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were Henry La Vake, Theodore Deininger, George Babl, Glen Kasten, Albert Meyer and Olaf Benson.

     Petronella (Lucy) Stachowiak was born on 9 May 1873. She was the daughter of Chrisostomus John Stachowiak and Magdaline Szymkowiak. Petronella (Lucy) Stachowiak died on 9 April 1962 at Town of Hull, Portage Co, WI, at age 88.

Miss Petronella Stachowiak

Miss Petronella (Lucy) Stachowiak, 88, died at 11:10 a.m. Monday at 204 5th Ave., where she lived with her sister, Mrs. Rose Rutta.
Miss Stachowiak had been ill three months and confined to bed the last month.
Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Peter's Catholic Church, with burial following in St. Casimir's Cemetery, Town of Hull.
Friends may call at the Dzikoski Funeral Home after Wednesday noon. The Third Order of St. Francis of St. Peter's Church, of which Miss Stachowiak was a member, will say the rosary at 3 p.m. Wednesday. A general rosary will be recited Wednesday night at 8 o'clock.
Miss Stachowiak was born in Hull on May 9, 1873, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Stachowiak. As a girl, she attended St. Casimir's Parochial School in Hull.
At the age of 17, she went ot Duluth, Minn., and later lived in Portland, Ore., until returning here in 1942. She had lived with her sister the last four years. A seamstress, she was active in her occupation until her illness.
Surviving are her sister; two brothers, Fred Stachowiak, 200 5th Ave., and Theodore Stachowiak, Wausau, and nieces and nephews.
Four brothers and a sister preceded her in death.

Miss Stachowiak's Funeral

The Rev. S.P. Mieczkowski was the celebrant of a solemn requiem high mass Thursday morning at St. Peter's Catholic Church for the funeral of Miss Petronella (Lucy) Stachowiak, 88, of 204 5th Ave. Miss Stachowiak died Monday.
The Rev. Roy Mish was deacon of the mass and the Rev. S. Lapinski was subdeacon. The Rev. F. J. Brzostowicz conducted burial rites in the parish cemetery of St. Casimir's Catholic Church in the Town of Hull.
Pallbearers were Richard Mrozinski, Daniel Stachowiak, Anton and Charles Zimbauer and Casimir and Ambrose Rutta.
Friends and relatives attending came from Chicago, Ill., Hilbert, Wausau, Mosinee, Schofield and Stevens Point, the Town of Hull and surrounding areas.
Present in a group were members of the Third Order of St. Francis, of which Miss Stachowiak was a member.

She was buried on 12 April 1962 at Town of Hull, Portage Co, WI.

     John Stachowiak was born circa 1876. He was the son of Chrisostomus John Stachowiak and Magdaline Szymkowiak. John Stachowiak married Martha Stankowska on 15 May 1905 at Stevens Point, Portage Co, WI. John Stachowiak died circa 1923.

     Martha Laszewski was born on 30 March 1877 at Stevens Point, Portage Co, WI. She was the daughter of John Laszewski and Josephine Boska. Martha Laszewski was baptized on 8 April 1877 at St. Casimir Church, Town of Hull, Portage Co, WI.1 She married Roman Stachovak, son of Chrisostomus John Stachowiak and Magdaline Szymkowiak, on 11 November 1895 at St. Casimir Church, Town of Hull, Portage Co, WI.2 Martha Laszewski died on 8 August 1955 at Wausau, Marathon Co, WI, at age 78.

Mrs. Martha J. Stachovak

Mrs. Martha J. Stachovak, 78, 1204 Town Line Rd., died at home last evening about 7 o'clock. Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 10 o'clock in the Ritter & Deutsch Funeral Home and at 10:30 o'clock in St. Michael's Catholic Church. The Rev. M. E. Kluczykowski will officiate at the requiem high mass and burial will be in the church cemetery. The body is at the funeral home, where rosary services will be conducted tomorrow evening at 7 o'clock.
Mrs. Stachovak was born in Stevens Point March 30, 1877, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Laszewski. She was married in 1894 in Stevens Point to Roman Stachovak, who died April 19, 1949. She was a member of the Holy Name Society.
Surviving are eight sons, Frank J. Stachovak, 1017 Monroe St., Leon, Peter, and Anton Stachovak 1204 Town Line Rd., Peter Stachovak, 1222 Monroe St., Ben Stachovak, 1206 Town Line Rd., John Stachovak, Tomahawk; a daughter, Mrs. Valeria Thompson, Kansas City, Mo; four brothers, John Laszewski, Milwaukee, and Anton, Peter and Leon Laszewski, Stevens Point; a sister, Mrs. Anna Groutcha, Stevens Point; 19 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Stachovak Funeral

The Rev. Aloysius Wozniak conducted funeral services this morning in the Ritter & Deutsch Funeral Home and in St. Michael's Catholic Church for Mrs. Martha J. Stachovak, 78, 1204 Town Line Rd., who died Monday. Burial followed in St. Michael Cemetery. Henry, Norman, Harry and Joseph Laszewski, Ben Groshek and Raymond Stachowiak were pallbearers.
