Mrs. Florence Stachovak, nee Yanke, wife of Leo Stachovak of Schofield, passed away last night at 11:15 o'clock a the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Yanke of Schofield, after an illness of two years. Funeral services are to be conducted Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the family home and at 2:00 o'clock at the Frieden's Lutheran church at Schofield, the Rev. E. C. Grauer of Wausau officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Grove cemetery.
The deceased was born in Schofield June 19, 1902, and was married there November 28, 1924. She is survived by the widower; two children, Gladys and Orin; her parents; a sister, Mrs. Paul Machmueller of Schofield, and a brother, Ervin Yanke of Schofield.

Frank served in the Army during World War II and fought in the Battle of the Bulge in France. He worked at Anderson Brothers for 35 years and Marathon Foundry for seven years.
Frank is survived by his wife, Gladys, Schofield; three brothers, Victor (Eleanor) Augustine, Rib Mountain, Roman (MaryAnn) Augustine and Walter (Barbara) Augustine, all of Schofield; one sister, Helen (Melvin) Hintz, Schofield; three sisters-in-law, Lena Augustine and Margaret Augustine, both of Wausau, and Alice Augustine, Schofield; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by five brothers, Joseph, Adam, Louie, Hank and Vince; and a sister, Julia Kuras.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 4, 2002, at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. The Rev. William Grevatch will officiate. Burial will be at Pine Grove Cemetery in Wausau. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Theodore 'Ted' Pudelko
Theodore 'Ted' Pudelko, 82, 312 Schmidt Ave., Rothschild, died Thursday, Sept. 5, 2002, at his home under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services.
Ted was born Jan. 10, 1920, in Kronenwetter, son of the late Teofil and Mary (Kedzior) Pudelko. He married Esther Halminiak on Aug. 28, 1948, at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. She survives. Ted and Esther were charter members of St. Mark Catholic Church, Rothschild.
Ted worked at Weyerhaeuser Paper Mill for 42 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving his country during World War II. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 388 and the American Legion Post No. 492 in Rothschild and also a member of Amvets. He was a 55-year member of the Moose Lodge No. 1576 where he received their highest degree, 'Pilgrim.' Gardening, yard work, fishing and bowling were among his favorite things to do. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Besides his wife, Esther, he is survived by one son, David (Jackie) Pudelko, Rothschild, and their children, Joshua, Jessica and Ryan; one daughter, Constance (Jim Arvanites) Pudelko, Hatley, and her son, Jeremiah (Amy) Johnson, Fort Riley, Kan; mother-in-law, Annie Zurawski; three sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, two brothers and one grandson, Chad Johnson.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2002, at St. Mark Catholic Church, Rothschild. The Rev. Allan Slowiak will preside. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Mosinee. Friends may call at 10 a.m. until time of services Wednesday at the church.
