     Earl Kenneth Soule was born on 18 May 1920.¹ He was the son of Elmer Edwin Soule and Marie Althea Collier. Earl Kenneth Soule married Jean Stanczyk, daughter of Frank Stanczyk and Barbara Cychosz, on 5 July 1941. Earl Kenneth Soule married M. Joyce (Hudson) Jourdan on 18 November 1977. Earl Kenneth Soule died on 18 November 2006 at Greenwood, IN, at age 86.

Earl K. Soule 86, of Greenwood, passed away November 18, 2006 at his home. Mr. Soule worked for Wisconsin Bell at Madison, WI for 41 years, retiring as supervising foreman in 1982. He was a WWII Army Infantry Veteran. He was a member of St. Rock Catholic Church, Telephone Pioneers of America, Greenwood American Legion and the Greenwood VFW. Mr. Soule married M. Joyce (Hudson) Soule on November 18, 1977 and she survives him. He was preceded in death by his son, James Soule and his brothers, Vernon, Gerald and Robert Soule. Survivors include his son, Patrick (Sue) Soule of Madison, WI; his daughter, Kathleen (Ed) Sonsalla of Independence, WI; step-daughter, Judy (Doug) Koerner of Mooresville; stepsons, Jack (Susan) Jourdan of Frankton, IN and Jeff (Gina) Jourdan of Greenwood; 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, Nov.21, at 10 a.m. at St. Rock Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Friends May call Monday, Nov. 20, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Daniel F. O'Riley Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Roch Memorial Fund.

     Edith May Soule was born on 6 July 1875 at Almond, Portage Co, WI.^1,2 She was the daughter of Heman Alonzo Soule and Emma Jane Achilles. Edith May Soule appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Almond, Portage Co, WI in the household of her parents, Heman Alonzo Soule and Emma Jane Achilles.³ Edith May Soule married William Gustin on 19 February 1896 at Plainfield, Waushara Co, WI.⁴ Edith May Soule died on 8 April 1943 at Waupun, Dodge Co, WI, at age 67.^5,6,7 She was buried on 11 April 1943 at Almond, Portage Co, WI.

     Ellery Alfred Soule was born on 21 May 1884 at Almond, Portage Co, WI.^1,2 He was the son of Heman Alonzo Soule and Emma Jane Achilles. Ellery Alfred Soule married Carrie G. Young on 8 March 1905. Ellery Alfred Soule died on 28 September 1949 at Rhinelander, Oneida Co, WI, at age 65.^3,4

Ellery Soule was born on 21 May 1884 in the town of Almond, son of the late Heman and Emma Soule. He resided in the town of Almond and Stevens Point prior to moving to Rhinelander 20 years ago. He operated an automobile business at Almond. While residing in Stevens Point he was employed by the Buick Automobile Dealership. Since going to Rhinelander he worked in a paper mill. Mr. Soule was married in 1905 to Miss Carrie Young of the town of Almond.

     Elmer Edwin Soule was born on 13 May 1879 at Almond, Portage Co, WI.¹ He was the son of Heman Alonzo Soule and Emma Jane Achilles. Elmer Edwin Soule appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Almond, Portage Co, WI in the household of his parents, Heman Alonzo Soule and Emma Jane Achilles.² Elmer Edwin Soule married Marie Althea Collier, daughter of Hiram Collier, on 26 March 1902 at Hortonville, Outagamie Co, WI.³ Elmer Edwin Soule died on 27 September 1960 at Tucson, Pima Co, AZ, at age 81.¹ He was buried on 2 October 1960 at Almond Cemetery, Almond, Portage Co, WI.¹

     Gerald George Soule was born on 13 July 1905 at Almond, Portage Co, WI.^1,2 He was the son of Elmer Edwin Soule and Marie Althea Collier. Gerald George Soule married Malinda Loberg on 14 June 1927 at Town of New Hope, Portage Co, WI.¹ Gerald George Soule died on 8 July 1948 at Amherst, Portage Co, WI, at age 42.³

     Heman Alonzo Soule was born on 8 August 1850 at Middleburgh, Cuyahoga Co, OH.^1,2 He married Emma Jane Achilles, daughter of Alvaro C. Achilles and Drusilla H. Traver, on 14 September 1874 at Almond, Portage Co, WI.³ Heman Alonzo Soule and Emma Jane Achilles appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Almond, Portage Co, WI, enumerated 16 June 1880. Their children Edith May and Elmer Edwin were listed as living with them.⁴ Heman Alonzo Soule died on 30 October 1900 at Almond, Portage Co, WI, at age 50; chronic introtitial nephritis.³ He was buried on 31 October 1900 at Almond Cemetery, Almond, Portage Co, WI.

     Leland Soule was born on 29 August 1905.¹ He was the son of Ellery Alfred Soule and Carrie G. Young. Leland Soule married Josephine (?) Leland Soule died on 9 December 1982 at Rhinelander, Oneida Co, WI, at age 77.² He was buried on 13 December 1982 at St. Mary's Cemetery, Rhinelander, Oneida Co, WI.²

     Louisa Maria Soule was born on 25 April 1911. She was the daughter of Elmer Edwin Soule and Marie Althea Collier. Louisa Maria Soule died on 25 May 1911.

     Otis Alvaro Soule was born on 27 May 1907 at Almond, Portage Co, WI.¹ He was the son of Ellery Alfred Soule and Carrie G. Young. Otis Alvaro Soule married Marion Wilhelm on 4 August 1945.² Otis Alvaro Soule died on 25 January 1976 at Rhinelander, Oneida Co, WI, at age 68; heart condition.² He was buried at Forest Home Cemetery, Rhinelander, Oneida Co, WI.

He was employed at St. Regis Paper Company and at the time of his retirement in 1972 was foreman of the machine shop. He was a member of the First Congregational Church.

     Robert Elmer Soule was born on 29 January 1913.¹ He was the son of Elmer Edwin Soule and Marie Althea Collier. Robert Elmer Soule married Clyo Hanson on 14 August 1936.¹ Robert Elmer Soule died on 27 June 1970 at age 57.

     Vernon Achilles Soule was born on 10 September 1903 at Town of Pine Grove, Portage Co, WI.^1,2 He was the son of Elmer Edwin Soule and Marie Althea Collier. Vernon Achilles Soule married Jessie Pearl Lea Mahanna on 3 June 1924 at Town of Lanark, Portage Co, WI.¹ Vernon Achilles Soule died on 29 January 1970 at Tucson, Pima Co, AZ, at age 66.²
