Emily Dulak married Theodore Gonsiorowski on 7 June 1938 at St. Mary's Torun, Town of Dewey, Portage Co, WI. Emily Dulak died on 22 October 2002 at Stevens Point, Portage Co, WI, at age 89.

Emily C. Gonsiorowski

Emily C. Gonsiorowski, 89, 825 Whiting Ave., Stevens Point, died Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2002, at St. Michael's Hospital.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Peter Catholic Church, with the Rev. Robert Schaller officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery in Lac du Flambeau.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. Friday in the St. Faustina Room of the church until the services. There will be a parish rosary at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Gonsiorowski was born Jan. 20, 1913, in the town of Dewey, a daughter of the late John and Martha (Szczesny) Dulak. She attended Rockland School in the town of Dewey.

She was married to Theodore Gonsiorowski on June 7, 1938, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Torun. He died July 3, 1981.

After their marriage, they settled in the town of Knowlton and farmed for most of their lives until moving to Lac du Flambeau.

She worked as a baker and chef at Camp Wipikagi in Lac du Flambeau, retiring in 1979. She returned to Stevens Point in 1990, entering the Portage County Health Care Center, where she resided the past 12 years.

For many years she made all the Christmas wreaths for St. Francis Xavier Church in Knowlton and St. Anthony Catholic Church in Lac du Flambeau.
She was a past president of the St. Francis Cabrini Society of St. Francis Xavier Church in Knowlton and also a past president of the Rosary Society of St. Anthony Church in Lac du Flambeau.

Survivors include one son, James (Rita), Wausau; one daughter, Carol Hughes, Sherman, Texas; one brother, Steve Dulak, Stevens Point; seven sisters, Regina Danczyk and Theresa (Leonard) King, both of Stevens Point; Helen Helminiak, Manitowoc, Martha (Bill) Sarna, Chicago, Ill., Betty (Mario) Mancini, Peoria, Ariz., Veronica Roberts, Skokie, Ill., and Heddy (Albin) Napiwocki, Mosinee; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one sister, Angeline; and three brothers, John, Joseph and Bernard.

Theodore Gonsiorowski

     Theodore Gonsiorowski was born on 12 September 1908 at Stevens Point, Portage Co, WI. He married Emily Dulak, daughter of John Dulak and Martha Szczesny, on 7 June 1938 at St. Mary's Torun, Town of Dewey, Portage Co, WI. Theodore Gonsiorowski died on 3 July 1981 at Lac Du Flambeau, Vilas Co, WI, at age 72.

Theodore GONSIOROWSKI, 72, Lac du Flambeau, brother of a local woman and former area resident, died Friday at home.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at S10 Anthony's Catholic Church in Lac du Flambeau. The Rev. John STRENSKI will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. today at the Bolger Funeral Home, Minocqua. A wake service will be held at 7 p.m.
Mr. GONSIOROWSKI was born Sept. 12, 1908, in Stevens Point, a son of the late Frank and Susan GONSIOROWSKI. He operated a farm in the town of Knowlton and was a past member ofSt. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Knowlton, and past treasurer of a joint school district of the towns of Dewey and Sharon.
He married Emily DULAK June 7, 1938, at ST. Mary's Catholic Church, Torun. The couple have lived in Lac du Flambeau for 14 years. He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and its Men's Club.
Survivors include his wife; one son, James, Wausau; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Carol) HUGHES.

Regina Dulak

     Regina Dulak was born on 31 January 1915 at Town of Dewey, Portage Co, WI. She was the daughter of John Dulak and Martha Szczesny. Regina Dulak married Felix Danczyk on 25 May 1937 at St. Mary's Torun, Town of Dewey, Portage Co, WI. Regina Dulak died on 13 December 2006 at Stevens Point, Portage Co, WI, at age 91.

Regina B. Danczyk

Regina B. Danczyk, 91, of Harmony Living Center in Stevens Point, died Wednesday evening, Dec. 13, 2006, at St. Michael's Hospital.

She was born Jan. 31, 1915, in the town of Dewey to the late John and Martha (Szczesny) Dulak. She attended Rockland School in Dewey.

On May 25, 1937, she was married to Felix Danczyk at St. Mary Catholic Church, Torun. Felix died Oct. 7, 1976.

Regina was a homemaker and had been a member of the Secular Order of St. Francis and the St. Casimir Christian Women's Society. She enjoyed participating in activities at Harmony Living Center, singing, playing bingo and visiting with family and friends.

Survivors include her children, Tony (Lorraine) Danczyk of Stevens Point, Frank (Danae) Danczyk of Oak Forest, Ill., Bob (Sandi) Danczyk of Mosinee, Al Danczyk of Mosinee, Jean (David) Francois of Placentia, Calif., Pat (Leon) Byrd of Tucson, Ariz., Len Danczyk of Santa Barbara, Calif., Dorothy (Mark) Rice of Portage, Rita (Bob) Weber of Aurora, Ill., and Tom (Debby) Danczyk of Andover, Minn; sisters, Helen Helminiak of Manitowoc, Martha (Bill) Sarna of Chicago, Betty Mancini of Phoenix, Hedwig (Albin) Napiwocki of Mosinee and Theresa (Leonard) King of Stevens Point; 21 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Regina was preceded in death by her daughter, Elizabeth; her sisters, Angeline Danczyk, Emily Gonsiorowski and Veronica Roberts; and her brothers, John Jr., Stephen, Joseph and Bernard Dulak.

The funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Casimir Catholic Church in the town of Hull, with the Rev. Wesley Janowski officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home in Stevens Point and again from 9:30 a.m. until the time for Mass Saturday at the church. The St. Casimir Christian Women's Society will combine with the parish rosary to be prayed at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

     Elizabeth Danczyk was born on 24 May 1940 at Town of Dewey, Portage Co, WI. She was the daughter of Felix Danczyk and Regina Dulak. Elizabeth Danczyk died on 14 July 1970 at Tuscon, Pima Co, AZ, at age 30.

Funeral services for Miss Elizabeth (Bette) DANCZYK, 30, Tucson, Ariz., will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at S10 Casimir's Catholic Church in the Town of Hull. The Rev. Arthur REDMOND will officiate. Burial will be made in the parish cemetery. Miss DANZCYK drowned Wednesday afternoon in private apartment swimming pool at Tucson, according to word revieved by local relatives. She reportedly waded into the shallow end of the pool and had shown no sign of distress. She was missed a short time later and her body was found submerged.
She was born on May 24, 1940, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Felix DANCZYK of the Town of Dewey. She attended the Liberty Bell School and then PJ Jacobs High School for a year. She was graduated from Maria High School and later received her bachelor of science degree in nursing from the Alverno Nursing School at Milwaukee in 1963. She was employed as a registered nurse for a time at S10 Mary's Hospital at Wausau, and for the past year had been a nurse at Palo Verde hospital at Tucson.
She is survived by her parents, in the Town of Dewey; six brothers, Anthony, Town of Dewey, Francis, Mexico City, Mex., Robert, Mosinee, and Alphonse, Leonard and Thomas, all at home; and four sisters, Mrs. David (Jeanie) FRANSOIS, Anaheim, Calif., Miss Patricia Ann DANCA YK, Tucson, and Dorothy and Rita, both at home. The body is at the Dzikoski Funeral Home, where friends may call after 2 p.m. on Sunday. A general rosary will be prayed there Sunday evening at 8 o'clock.

Joseph P Dulak

     Joseph P Dulak was born on 25 January 1917 at Town of Dewey, Portage Co, WI. He was the son of John Dulak and Martha Szczesny. Joseph P Dulak married Grace Lewandowski on 11 September 1948 at Mill Creek, Portage Co, WI. Joseph P Dulak died on 7 February 1994 at Wisconsin Veterans Home, King, Waupaca Co, WI, at age 77.

Joseph P. DULAK, 77, formerly of 3200 Water St., died Monday, Feb. 7, 1994, at the Wisconsin Veterans Home, King. He had been a resident there for the past year. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Stephen Catholic Church. The Rev. Dan KIEDINGER will officiate. Burial will be in the Guardian Angel Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Dzikoski/Pisarski Funeral Home. The American Legion Post No.6 will hold a ritual at 6:45 p.m. and the Knights of Columbus will combine with the general rosary at 7 p.m.

He was born on Jan. 25, 1917, in the town of Dewey, to the late John and Martha (CHESNEY) DULAK. He attended Rockling School, Dewey.

Mr. DULAK entered the U.S. Army on October 21, 1941 and served as a private with the 4th Service Command. He was honorably discharged on August 20, 1942.

He was married to Grace LEWANDOWSKI on Sept. 11, 1948, at St. Casimir Catholic Church. She survives in Stevens Point. After their marriage, the couple settled in Stevens Point. They lived at their present address for the past 12 years.

Mr. DULAK worked for Pagel Milling and Worzalla Publishing and also did carpentry work. He retired in 1982.

He was a member of Berens-Scribner Post No.6 American Legion, and also Monsignor McGinley Council No. 1170 Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed engraving and making leather belts.
Survivors also include two brothers, Steve (Eleanore), Stevens Point, and Bernard (Easbel), Milwaukee; nine sisters, Angeline DANCZYK, Regina DANCZYK, Emily GONSIOROWSKI, all of Stevens Point, Helen HELMINIAK, Manitowoc, Martha (William) SORNA, Chicago, Elizabeth (Mario) MANCINI, Peoria, Ariz., Veronica ROBERTS, Winchfield, Ill., Hedwig (Albin) NAPIWOCKI, Mosinee, and Theresa (Leonard) KING, Stevens Point.

He was preceded in death by one brother.

     Grace Lewandowski was born on 6 January 1922 at Knowlton, Marathon Co, WI. She married Joseph P Dulak, son of John Dulak and Martha Szczesny, on 11 September 1948 at Mill Creek, Portage Co, WI. Grace Lewandowski died on 20 July 1999 at Stevens Point, Portage Co, WI, at age 77.

Survivors include a brother, Thomas (Stella) LEWANDOWSKI, town of Dewey; and two sisters, Gertrude DULAK and Barbara (James) GREZENSKI, both of Stevens Point.

     Verona Dulak was born on 19 March 1925. She was the daughter of John Dulak and Martha Szczesny. Verona Dulak married Frank Roberts on 7 June 1947 at St. Mary's Torun, Town of Dewey, Portage Co, WI. Verona Dulak died on 2 February 2004 at age 78.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Virginia (Richard) Sadowski, Deborah (Scott) Kleppin and Brenda (Michael) Scardino; two sons, Maynard (Doreen) and LeRoy (Colleen); one brother, Steven; and eight sisters, Emily Gonsiorowski, Regina Danczyk, Theresa (Leonard) King, Helen Helminiak, Martha (William) Sarna, Betty (Mario) Mancini, Veronica Roberts and Hedwig (Albin) Napiwocki; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Bernard Leon Dulak, 75, Milwaukee, died Saturday, July 13, 2002.

Bernard was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean conflict and was a member and past first commander of AMVETS Post 60. He had been employed for 37 years by the Eaton Corp. (formerly Cutler-Hammer). He was a member of the Holy Name Society, Saints Cyril and Methodius and St. Helen's dartball teams and was a former groundscrewman for the Milwaukee Braves.

He was the beloved husband and 'Honeybee' of Isabel (Firkus) Dulak; loving father of Virginia (Richard) Sadowski, Maynard (Doreen), Deborah (Scott) Kleppin, LeRoy (Colleen) and Brenda (Michael) Scardino; dear brother of Steven, Emily Gonsiorowski, Regina Danczyk, Theresa (Leonard) King, Helen Helminiak, Martha (William) Sarna, Betty (Mario) Mancini, Veronica Roberts and Hedwig (Albin) Napiwocki; and best friend of Ziggy and Charlotte Jarozewski. He also is survived by 12 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Joseph; and a sister, Angeline Danczyk.
