Miss Susan Zimbauer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Zimbauer, and Bruno Michalski, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Michalski, all of the town of Hull, were united in marriage Tuesday morning, October 28, at St. Casimir's church in the town of Hull by Rev. John B. Gruna. The attendants were Miss Lucille Zimbauer, sister of the bride, Miss Crasanta Stachowiak, the bride's cousin, Walter Michalski and Ladislaw Zimbauer. Laura Adamski was flower girl. Flowers, ferns and colored lights decorated the church. The briday gown of white lace was fashioned with a tight bodice and an ankle-length skirt, and the long tulle veil had a headdress beaded in pearls. White roses, ferns and lillies of the valley formed the bride's bouquet. The bridesmaids wore Nile green flat crepe and pink satin, respectively, while the flower girl wore light pink georgette. The bride was excorted to the altar by her father as the wedding march from 'Lohengrin' was played.
Streamers, wedding bells and Hallowe'en suggestions decorated the home of hte bride's parents for a reception held during the day. Breakfast, luncheon and dinner were served to 85 families. Among the out-of-town guests were: Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Michalski of Antigo; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Helminiak(sp.), Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Adamski, Mr. and Mrs. Anton Zimbauer, Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Stachowiak and Mr. and Mrs. Roman Stachowiak of Wausau; Mr. and Mrs. Louis Nievinski of Bevent; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wanta of Callon and John Zimbauer and family of Polonia.

Announcement is made of the marriage of Miss Lucille Zimbauer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Zimbauer of the town of Dewey, to Joseph Ligman, son of Michael Ligman, also of Dewey. The ceremony was performed Monday morning, January 21, at 8:30 o'clock at St. Casimir's church by Rev. John B. Gruna. Flowers and ferns decorated the altars.
A white satin gown with long sleeves and a floor length skirt was worn by the bride. Her lace trimmed veil fell from a turban headdress and silver slippers completed her costume. She carried a shower bouquet of white roses, pink carnations, sweet peas and lilies of the valley. Her two attendants, Misses Leona Michalski of Wausau and Gertrude Ligman of Stevens Point, niece and cousin of the groom, wore yellow and pale pink taffeta. Their dresses were made alike, with ankle lenght skirts, and they wore ribbon headbands to match. Thier flowers were pink and white carnations. Walter Zimbauer, brother of the bride, was best man and Frank Ligman, the groom's brother, was groomsman.
A reception for 10 families was held at the home of the bride's parents during the day, and breakfast, luncheon and dinner were served. White, yellow and pink streamers decorated the rooms. Guests from outside the county included Mr. and Mrs. Walter Helminiak and family and Mr. and Mrs. Anton Zimbauer and family of Wausau and Mr. and Mrs. Bruno Michalski of Arpin.

Lucille volunteered for Meals on Wheels, and set up for various events at Edgewater Manor, including delivering meals and newspapers to residents. She was a lifetime member of the St. Casimir Church Rosary Society.
She is survived by five sons, Jerome (Rita), Stevens Point, Robert (Terry), Stevens Point, Irwin (Dorothy), Lake Hasasu, Ariz., Chester (Eleanor), Amherst, and Ray (Catherine), Amherst; one sister, Emily (Stanley) Kossowski, Stevens Point; 19 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Darlene Literski; two grandsons, Kurt Literski and Jason Ligman; one granddaughter, Renee Ligman; six sisters; and five brothers.

Alois A. Zimbauer, 86, of Bourbonnais, Ill., died Wednesday, May 28, 2003, at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bradley, Ill. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Bradley Chapel of Schreffler Funeral Homes in Bradley, with the Rev. John Antczak officiating. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Worth, Ill. In lieu of flowers memorials in his name may be made to the Hospice of Kankakee Valley or the American Cancer Association.
He was born Nov. 2, 1916, in Stevens Point, to the late Andrew and Mary (Stahowiak) Zimbauer.
Alois served in the U.S. Army as a private first class during World War II.
He was married to Pearl Venier on Sept. 15, 1951, in Chicago. She died on Sept. 25, 1993.
Alois worked for Bethlehem Steel as a laborer. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Survivors include a son, Rob (Ann) Gustafson of Merriville, Ind; two daughters, Loni Fattori of Bourbonnais, and Lisa Zimbauer of Bradley; three sisters, Anna Zurawski of Warsaw, Lucille Legman of Stevens Point, and Emily Kossowski of Stevens Point; a brother, Carl Zimbauer of Stevens Point; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; his mother-in-law, Yolanda Cummings of Holly, Mich; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and eight brothers and sisters.

Carl was married to Frances Helminiak on Oct. 14, 1944, at St. Casimir Catholic Church. The couple settled in the town of Dewey, moving to Chicago in 1953. The couple moved back to the Stevens Point area in 1978. She died on Aug. 31, 2003.
He was employed by Bethlehem Steel Corp. in Chicago until his retirement.
Carl enjoyed bird watching and the outdoors.
Survivors include two sisters, Lucille Ligman and Emily (Stanley) Kossowski, both of Stevens Point; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; five sisters; and four brothers.

In 1930 he was a self-employed shoe repairman. In 1935 he started the Feltz Sawmill Co. In 1945, he became owner and president of the Feltz Lumber Co., and in 1950 he began a residential home construction company in conjunction with the lumber company. He remained active in the business until retiring in 1981.
He was an avid fisherman.
Survivors include one son, Albert (Jean), 1717 Partridge Lane; seven daughters, Evelyn (James) Gurney, 7929 Fifth St., Alice (Carl) Lepinski, 3809 Church St., Gladys (Robert) Flisakowski, 3316 Oak Ave., Irene (Morris) Piotrowski, 433 Verrill St., Whiting, Mary (Clifford) Konkol, 5248 Crocus Court, Jean (Fran) Mattke, Portage, and Bette (Marty) Bronk, De Pere; 31 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles (Helen), Plover, and Frank, 2016 N. Second Drive; and two sisters, Frances Yenter, Milwaukee, and Helen Kozak, 2256 Fourth Ave.
He was also preceded in death by one son, four brothers and one sister.

Alice M. Lepinski, 73, of 3809 Water St., died Sunday, May 30, 2004, at St. Michael's Hospital surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. An American Legion Auxilliary ritual will be at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, followed by a general rosary at 7 p.m.

Alice was an exceptional high-quality upholsterer for Carl's Upholstery. She was very proud of her work and retired in the spring of 2004, after 40 years of hard work.
She was an active member of the American Legion Auxilliary Post 543 of Plover. Alice loved to go to the casinos, play cards with family and friends, cook for for her family (an excellent chef she was), camp, read books, and do jigsaw and crossword puzzles. She loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Carl; her loving children, Gary (Marian) of Mosinee, Dale (Sandy) of Stockton, Jim (Rene) of Stevens Point, David (Kris) of Stevens Point, Sandy (Steve) Gawlik of Stevens Point, Shirley (Monte) Martinez of Waupaca, Brian (Kim) of Amherst, and Brad (Christy) of Mosinee; one brother, Albert (Jean) Feltz of Iola; four sisters, Evelyn Gurney of Stockton, Gladys (Robert) Flisakowski of Stevens Point, Irene (Morris) Piotrowski of Stevens Point and Jean (Fran) Mattke of Portage; 19 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
