She was employed by the Worzalla Publishing Co. in the binding department for many years and employed at Welsby Dry Cleaning and Journal Printing Co. She was married to Alfred (Rip) Polebitski Aug. 28, 1939, at St. Peter Catholic Church. The couple settled in Stevens Point and lived at their present address for 20 years. Her husband died Sept. 21, 1980. She was a member of St. Peter Rosary Society, Rose 8 and the St. Peter Mixed Choir.
Survivors include a son, John (Betty), 1008 Fourth St; three grandchildren; and two sisters, Helen Slicker, 316 Fifth Ave., and Frances Kozlowski, 341 Bukolt Ave.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and a sister.

Lucille was an active member of St. Francis Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include two daughters, Patricia (Larry) Peeters of Merrill and Susan Hubeny of Elmhurst, Ill; one son, Richard (Christine) Polebitski of Merrill; nine grandchildren; two great-grandsons; four sisters, Monica Omernick of Stevens Point, Dorothy (Buddy) Ciula of Knowlton, Barbara (William) Simonis of Mosinee and Elsie (Joseph) Koneczka of Manitowoc; and one sister-in-law, Stella Stachura of Stevens Point. In addition to her husband, Chester, she was preceded in death by one son, James; and one brother, Vincent Stachura.

Wysocki-Mancheski
Miss Gertrude Mancheski, 420 North Second street, and John Wysocki, 505 North First street, son of Mrs. Peter Stein of Elderon, were united in marriage Tuesday morning, August 6, at 8 o'clock at St. Peter's Catholic church, Rev. Leo Przybylski officiated.
The bridal gown of white marquisette was fashioned with a square neckline, puffed sleeves and a train, and was trimmed with lace. A seed pearl halo held the elbow lenght face veil and the long veil which fell in a long train. She carried white roses.
Miss Lillian Lukaszevig, who was the maid of honor, wore a powder blue marquisette gown, made with a swetheart (sp.) neckline with rosettes, puffed sleeves and a full skirt. She wore fresh flowers in her hair and carried a colonial bouquet of pink roses. Fabian Mancheski, brother of the bride, was best man.
After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride's brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Schroder, 410 North avenue. Breakfast, luncheon and dinner were served to 65 guests. Garden flowers were the decorations. Among the out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Peter Stein and son, Joseph, of Elderon; Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Holzknecht and son, Freddie, of Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Dominick Wysocki and son, Ronald, of Bevent; Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Wysocki and children, LeRoy and Dorothy of Tomahawk; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Schultz of Polonia and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Schultz of Torun.
After a two-weeks western trip the bride and groom will live on Union street. Mr. Wysocki is a foreman for the Lullabye Furniture corporation, and his bride is a clerk at Mancheski's store.
Before the wedding a shower was given at the home of Mrs. Pete Schroeder, with Mrs. F. A. Holzknecht and Mrs. John Koss as assisting hostesses. Bingo was played and the bride was presented a gift. She was married to Ben Mancheski. After their wedding, they settled in Stevens Point. Together they owned and operated Mancheski's grocery store on Second Street for a number of years. Ben died June 7, 1966.
Agnes also worked for Basic American Foods, Plover, and Ore-Ida Foods, Plover, until her retirement in 1971.
She was a member of St. Peter's Rosary Society, Rose 37. Agnes enjoyed sewing, embroidery and needle crafts, fishing and gambling. She did all of the Christmas baking for her family until this year.
Survivors include one son, Ralph (Mindy) Mancheski, Stevens Point; two daughters, Kathy (Arnold) Olds and Arlene (Larry) Berry, both of Stevens Point; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and two stepsisters, Bernice Sankey, Plover, and Frances Kubisiak, Stevens Point.
She was preceded in death by one grandson, two brothers and three sisters.

Miss Rose Meshak, 414 4th Ave., became the bride of Fabian Mancheski, 721 4th Ave., Monday morning at St. Alexander's Catholic Church, Port Edwards. The Rev. Dominic Eichman, a former local pastor, officiated at the rites at 10 o'clock.
Miss Betty Grode played the nuptial music and accompanied Mrs. Charles Palen, the vocal soloist.
The couple's only attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Polebitski.
Following the ceremony, dinner was served the wedding party at Hotel Mead, Wisconsin Rapids.
Mr. and Mrs. Mancheski will spend a week in Milwaukee. Upon their return they will live at 803 1/2 Washington Ave. Mr. Mancheski is employed by the Stevens Point Division of hte Consolidated Water Power and Paper Co. His bride works at the First National Bank.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the Dzikoski/Pisarski Funeral Home. A general rosary will be said at 8 this evening at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in her name to the St. Joseph Hospice, Marshfield.
Mrs. Mancheski died early Tuesday morning at St. Joseph's Hospice. She had been a patient there for one day and in ill health for the past year.
She was born March 9, 1926, in Stevens Point, a daughter of the late Peter and Helen Meshak.
She attended St. Stanislaus Catholic School and graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School.
She was married to Fabian Mancheski on Aug. 22, 1960, at St. Alexander Catholic Church, Port Edwards. He survives.
After the marriage, the couple settled in Stevens Point and lived at the present address for 28 years.
She was employed after high school at Fischer's Dairy, then Olson Ice Company. She also worked at First National Bank for nine years.
She was most recently employed with the Stevens Point School District and the lunch program at Ben Franklin Junior High School for the past 18 years, retiring in 1988.
She enjoyed golfing, playing cards and baking.
Survivors besides her husband include two daughters, Goldie (Russ) Hessler, 1905 N. Second Drive, and Sarah (Robert) Gorski, Eden Prairie, Minn; one sister, Jeanette Meshak, 716 Fourth Ave; four brothers, Walter (Anne) Meshak, 1740 Briggs St., Chester (Marcia) Meshak, 701 Lindbergh Ave., Jerry Meshak, 716 Fourth Ave., and Edward Meshak, Stevens Point; and three grandchildren.

Rose Meshak, Mr. Mancheski Exchange Vows
Miss Rose Meshak, 414 4th Ave., became the bride of Fabian Mancheski, 721 4th Ave., Monday morning at St. Alexander's Catholic Church, Port Edwards. The Rev. Dominic Eichman, a former local pastor, officiated at the rites at 10 o'clock.
Miss Betty Grode played the nuptial music and accompanied Mrs. Charles Palen, the vocal soloist.
The couple's only attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Polebitski.
Following the ceremony, dinner was served the wedding party at Hotel Mead, Wisconsin Rapids.
Mr. and Mrs. Mancheski will spend a week in Milwaukee. Upon their return they will live at 803 1/2 Washington Ave. Mr. Mancheski is employed by the Stevens Point Division of hte Consolidated Water Power and Paper Co. His bride works at the First National Bank.

Mancheski services
Funeral services for Rose Mancheski, 64, 521 Hickory St., Whiting, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter Catholic Church. The Rev. Bogdan Werra will officiate. Burial will be in the Guardian Angel Cemetery.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the Dzikoski/Pisarski Funeral Home. A general rosary will be said at 8 this evening at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in her name to the St. Joseph Hospice, Marshfield.
Mrs. Mancheski died early Tuesday morning at St. Joseph's Hospice. She had been a patient there for one day and in ill health for the past year.
She was born March 9, 1926, in Stevens Point, a daughter of the late Peter and Helen Meshak.
She attended St. Stanislaus Catholic School and graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School.
She was married to Fabian Mancheski on Aug. 22, 1960, at St. Alexander Catholic Church, Port Edwards. He survives.
After the marriage, the couple settled in Stevens Point and lived at the present address for 28 years.
She was employed after high school at Fischer's Dairy, then Olson Ice Company. She also worked at First National Bank for nine years.
She was most recently employed with the Stevens Point School District and the lunch program at Ben Franklin Junior High School for the past 18 years, retiring in 1988.
She enjoyed golfing, playing cards and baking.
Survivors besides her husband include two daughters, Goldie (Russ) Hessler, 1905 N. Second Drive, and Sarah (Robert) Gorski, Eden Prairie, Minn; one sister, Jeanette Meshak, 716 Fourth Ave; four brothers, Walter (Anne) Meshak, 1740 Briggs St., Chester (Marcia) Meshak, 701 Lindbergh Ave., Jerry Meshak, 716 Fourth Ave., and Edward Meshak, Stevens Point; and three grandchildren.
