Schultz-Kabachinski
As the strains of the 'Bridal Chorus' from 'Lohengrin' pealed from the organ of St. Stephen's Catholic church, Miss Dorothy Rose Kabachinski, 320 Francis street, approached the altar on the arm of her father to repeat her marriage vows with Thomas C. Schultz, 425 Franklin street. The altar, before which Rev. John McGinley performed the double ring ceremony at 9 o'clock on Tuesday morning, June 15, was decorated with bouquets of white and pine peonies.
Mrs. Herman Menzel played the processional and Menelssohn's 'Wedding March' as a recessional and accompanied Jack Zei as he sang 'On This Day O Beautiful Mother,' 'Panis Angelicus' and 'Ave Maria.'
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nick Kabachinski, and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Schultz.
The bodice of the bride's white gown was of satin with a marquisette yoke, lace [bertha] color and long satin sleeves. The full marquisette skirt which fell over a satin foundation, was trimmed in front with two inserts of cascaded lace and ended in a sweeping train which had three inserts of the lace in the same design. Her finger-tip veil, edged with Chantilly lace, and circular blusher of imported illusion, fell from a tiara, trimmed with clusters of pearlized orange blossoms. She carried an arm bouquet of white roses and wore a double-strand pearl necklace, the bridegroom's gift to her.
The bride's white attire was accented by the rainbow hues worn by her four attendants, Misses Irene and Lorraine Kabachinski, her sisters, and Loretta Schultz, the bridegroom's sister and Marie Helinski.
The matron of honor, Miss Irene Kabachinski, wore pale peach [orchid] and the bridesmaids, Mis Lorraine Kabachinski, wore green, Miss Schultz, peach, and Miss Helinski, yellow, all in pastel tints. Their mousseline de sole gowns over rayon taffeta, were all made alike with puffed sleeves, full skirts, high necklines and berth collars. They wore cocktail mitts and matching headbands, fashioned of for-get-me-nots. They carried arm bouquets of white carnations and wore pearl necklaces and the bride's gifts to them, pearl earrings.
Edwin Kryshak was the best man and Norbert and Barnaby Schultz, brothers of the bridegroom were groomsmen.
Mrs. Kabichinski was attired in a dress of navy and white sheer, with white accessories, while Mrs. Schultz wore rose and black jersey, with black accessories. Their corsages were of pink and white carnations.
Following the ceremony breakfast was served to immediate relatives of the couple. Wildwood Gardens was the scene of a 5 o'clock dinner and dancing in the evening with music furnished by an orchestra.
A trip into northern Wisconsin was taken by the couple. They will reside at 421 Franklin street. Mr. Schultz is employed by the Prais Furniture and Undertaking firm, while the bride works at Hardware Mutual.
Before her marriage Mrs. Schultz was entertained at a miscellaneous shower given by Misses Irene and Lorraine Kabachinski. Misses Irene Suchoske and Wanda Feltz were hostesses at a dinner at the Country Spa, attended by a number of fellow-office employes, who presented her with gifts.
