She was married to Alois F. Krusa on April 19, 1932, at St. Peter Catholic Church. Alois preceded her in death on Oct. 15, 1990.
Dorothy was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church. She was active in earlier years at the Lincoln Center and enjoyed playing bingo. She was very proud of a picture that was taken of her and Hillary Clinton. She was an excellent cook and baker and loved to visit with people. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by seven daughters, Marge (Ed) Peltier, Stevens Point, Gerrie (Don) Quimby, Stevens Point, Carole (James) Borchardt, Stevens Point, Corrine (Mike) Salfer, West Allis, Mary (Tom) Donermeyer, Auburn, Wash., Florie (Morrie) Karch, Stevens Point, and Kathy (Clarence) Kluck, Nekoosa; three sons, James (Louise), Stevens Point, Paul (Linda), Waupaca, and Brian (Joyce), Stevens Point; 27 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild coming soon; two sisters, Margaret Czerwinski, Stevens Point, and Sister Madelyn Stachowiak, Stevens Point; and two brothers, Daniel and Joseph 'George' Stachowiak, both of Stevens Point.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one infant brother and one sister, Jean Motyka.

Mr. Kruza lived here until the death of his wife Sept. 6, 1954, and after that resided with a son, Anton Jr., in Pewaukee. He had been a patient at the Waukesha County Infirmary the last five months.
Born in Germany June 10, 1870, he served in the German Army before coming to the United States as a young man.
He lived first in Le Sueur County, Minn., and was married in Lexington, Minn., in 1899 to the former Anna Raschke. Shortly afterward they came to Stevens Point, living for many years at 406 Smith St.
Mr. Kruza, a carpenter, was employed by the Soo Line and Joerns Brothers Furniture Co. before retiring 26 years ago.
He is survived by two sons, Alois, 723 Elk St., and Anton Jr; 12 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
A brother preceded him in death.

Mrs. Anton Kruza
Mrs. Anton Kruza, 70, 417 1/2 Prentice street, died Monday at 11:30 a.m. at her home. She was active and in good health prior to Sept. 28, 1953, when she was struck by an auto on North Second street and suffered a broken leg. She was a patient at St. Michael's hospital for four and one half months following the accident and had been only semi-active since she was dismissed from the hospital.
She was born Anna Raschke in Poland on Oct. 11, 1874, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. August Raschke. At the age of 11 years, she came to the United States with her parents and they lived in Chicago for a time before moving to a farm near Montgomery, Minn., in 1895.
On Feb. 7, 1897, she was married at Montgomery to Mr. Kruza and they settled on a farm in that vicinity. They continued to reside there until 1909, when they moved to Stevens Point. They lived for many years at 406 Smith street, moving to their present address a year a half ago. Mr. Kruza was employed here for 17 years by the Soo Line railroad and later for a time at the Joerns Brothers Furniture Co. He has been retired for the past 30 years due to physical disability.
Surviving are her husband; two sons, Anton J. of Pewaukee and Alois, 732 Elk street; 10 grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Augustine Guessen, New Prague, Minn. Her parents, two sisters and a brother preceded her in death.
Mrs. Kruza was a member of the Rosary society of St. Peter's Catholic church.
Funeral services will be held at St. Peter's church Thursday at 9 a.m. and burial will follow in Guardian Angel cemetery. The Rosary society will recite the rosary at the Dzikoski funeral home this evening at 7:30 and a general rosary will be said Wednesday evening, also at 7:30.

Anderson-Quimby Wedding
George F. Quimby, for several years an employe of Gross & Jacobs company was married this morning to Miss Helen Marie Anderson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Anderson, 350 Central avenue.
The ceremony was preformed at 6 o'clock at St. Stephen's church, Rev. Jas. C. Hogan officiating.
Max Hopsenberger served as best man and Miss Julia Anderson, sister of the bride, was the latter's attendant.
Both young women wore navy blue, the bride wearing a suit of taffeta material and carrying a shower bouquet of roses. The bridesmaid's dress was of firsheen crepe and her bouquet was of white carnations.
Breakfast was served at the Anderson home, the guests including area relatives and a few intimate friends. Mr. and Mrs. Quimby left on a Soo train at 10:30 a.m. for Fond du Lac, to visit until Sunday.
For the past couple of years the bride had been chief operator for the Wisconsin telephone company in this city. She is the oldest daughter in the Anderson family. Mr. Quimby is the son of Daniel Quimby, one of Stevens Point's oldest residents.

Quimbys Mark Golden Wedding
Mr. and Mrs. George Quimby, 472 West Clark St., renewed their wedding vows of 50 years at an 11 a.m. Mass Saturday at St. Stephen's Catholic Church.
A noon dinner was served to about 100 guests at the American Legion Memorial Hall, and about 300 people attended the 2-4 p.m. reception there.
The former Helen M. Anderson wed Mr. Quimby at St. Stephen's Catholic Church Feb. 1, 1923. The Quimby's have three sons and three daughters: Donald, 1964 Church St; David, at home; Tom, Plover; Mrs. Ken Pozorski (Ann), 3015 Belke Ave; Mrs. Norman Meshak (Joan) 710 Soo Marie Ave; Mrs. Charles Smith (Shirley), Appleton. There are 17 grandchildren.
The Rev. Thomas Mullen celebrated Saturday's Mass, and Mrs. Anne Klesmith was musician. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Blazer, Fond du Lac, were attendants for the couple. Mrs. Blazer, sister of Mrs. Quimby, was bridal attendant for the 1923 ceremony. The late Max Hopfensperger was best man at the original wedding.
At the renewal Mass, Donald Quimby and John Quimby, a grandson, were Mass servers. The offetory procession gifts were carried by David Quimby, Mrs. Meshak and Mrs. Smith.
For her anniversary, Mrs. Quimby wore a floor-length gown with gold print skirt and long-sleeved Kelly green bodice. The neckline and cuffs were banded with the skirt fabric. Her heckpiece was a gold net whimsy trimmed with pearls and velvet bows, and her gloves and purse were gold. The gold pendant she wore was a gift of Mr. Quimby. Her corsage and his boutonniere were of Talisman roses.
Guests attending the reception were from Appleton, Fond du Lac, Waupun, Junction City, Milladore, Wisconsin Rapids, Marshfield, the Stevens Point area and from Illinois.
As a special surprise for the couple, the Sentry Men, barbershop quartet, presented several nostalgic selections. Mrs. Elsie Dobeck was in charge of the guest book. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Arch served punch for adults and Carol Okray, a godchild, served punch for children. Mrs. Robert Bartosz, a niece, cut and served the wedding cake.
Mr. Quimby retired in 1962 as custodian for the Stevens Point Board of Education.

George and Helen Quimby, 472 W. Clark St., marked their 60th wedding anniversary Saturday with an 11 a.m. Mass at St. Stephen's Catholic Church.
Mr. Quimby and the former Helen Anderson were married at St. Stephen's Feb. 1, 1923.
The Rev. Francis Mancl celebrated the Mass at which St. Joe's Folk Choir sang. Ushers were Jeff Pozorski and Brian Quimby; Mass server was Tom Quimby; gift bearers were Joan Meshak, Shriley Smith and Don, Tom and David Quimby and lectors were Bonnie Quimby and Sharon Hintz. Melanie Schultz was in charge of the guest book.
Mr. and Mrs. Quimby had six children: Mrs. Norman (Joan) Meshak, 710 Soo Marie Ave; Don, 1964 Church St; David, 1724 Water St; Tom, 2821 Katherine Circle, Plover; Mrs. Charles (Shirely) Smith, Appleton; and the late Mrs. Ken (Ann) Pozorski.
About 200 people attended a dinner and reception hosted by the couple's children at the American Legion Clubhouse after Mass. George Serrill Quimby died on 28 June 1987 at Stevens Point, Portage Co, WI, at age 89. He was buried at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, Stevens Point, Portage Co, WI.

Anderson-Quimby Wedding
George F. Quimby, for several years an employe of Gross & Jacobs company was married this morning to Miss Helen Marie Anderson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Anderson, 350 Central avenue.
The ceremony was preformed at 6 o'clock at St. Stephen's church, Rev. Jas. C. Hogan officiating.
Max Hopsenberger served as best man and Miss Julia Anderson, sister of the bride, was the latter's attendant.
Both young women wore navy blue, the bride wearing a suit of taffeta material and carrying a shower bouquet of roses. The bridesmaid's dress was of firsheen crepe and her bouquet was of white carnations.
Breakfast was served at the Anderson home, the guests including area relatives and a few intimate friends. Mr. and Mrs. Quimby left on a Soo train at 10:30 a.m. for Fond du Lac, to visit until Sunday.
For the past couple of years the bride had been chief operator for the Wisconsin telephone company in this city. She is the oldest daughter in the Anderson family. Mr. Quimby is the son of Daniel Quimby, one of Stevens Point's oldest residents.

Quimbys Mark Golden Wedding
Mr. and Mrs. George Quimby, 472 West Clark St., renewed their wedding vows of 50 years at an 11 a.m. Mass Saturday at St. Stephen's Catholic Church.
A noon dinner was served to about 100 guests at the American Legion Memorial Hall, and about 300 people attended the 2-4 p.m. reception there.
