     Virgina Precourt was born on 1 August 1914 at Town of Buena Vista, Portage Co, WI. She married Henry Eiden, son of Nickolas John Eiden and Mary Barbara Breitenstein, on 23 November 1931 at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, Stevens Point, Portage Co, WI. Virgina Precourt died on 18 April 1989 at Stevens Point, Portage Co, WI, at age 74.

Virginia A. Jablonski
Virginia A. Jablonski, 74, 2910 Evergreen Drive, town of Plover, died Tuesday at St. Michael’s Hospital after a brief illness.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Shuda Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Lyle Schulte officiating. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery. Friends may call from 9 a.m. Thursday until the services at Shuda Funeral chapel.
Mrs. Jablonski was born Aug. 1, 1914, in the town of Buena Vista, a daughter of the late Ernest and Marie Precourt. She graduated from Emerson high School.
She was married to Henry Eiden on Nov. 23, 1931, at St. Stephen Catholic Church. He died July 21, 1970.
She was married to Anton Jablonski in 1971 at St. Peter Catholic Church. He died in 1981
From 1954 to 1963 she worked at the Point Bakery. She then worked as a cook at the Main Street cafe from 1963 until retirement in 1971.
After retirement she enjoyed traveling. She lived at her present address for the past eight years.
Survivors include one daughter, Ruth (Theodore) Schulfer, 5318 Woodland Circle, town of Hull; four sons, Frederick, 2250 Dixon St., Maurice (Kathleen), Wausau, Henry (Anne), Charlottesville, Va., and Richard (Sharon), Price, Utah; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Nada Newby, Anchorage, Alaska.
She was also preceded in death by one son, five brothers and one sister.

Frederick Eiden

M, b. 26 June 1932, d. 25 March 2001
     Frederick Eiden was born on 26 June 1932 at Stevens Point, Portage Co, WI. He was the son of Henry Eiden and Virgina Precourt. Frederick Eiden married Jeanette Raschka on 12 July 1958 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Stevens Point, Portage Co, WI. Frederick Eiden died on 25 March 2001 at Stevens Point, Portage Co, WI, at age 68.

Fred 'Fritz' Eiden
Fred 'Fritz' Eiden, 68, formerly of 2250 Dixon St., died Sunday, March 25, 2001, at St. Michael's Hospital.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with the Rev. Alan Burkhardt officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. Thursday at the church until the services. An American Legion Ritual will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday and a Bible vigil at 7 p.m. Wednesday, both at the funeral home.
Mr. Eiden was born June 26, 1932, in Stevens Point, a son of the late Henry and Virginia (Precourt) Eiden. He attended local schools.
He entered the U.S. Army on March 24, 1953, in Milwaukee. He was a private first class, serving with the 60th Ordinance Co. He received the National Defense Service Medal and Army Occupation Medal. He was honorably discharged on March 15, 1955, at Fort Sheridan, Ill.
He was married to Jeanette Raschka on July 12, 1958, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. She died Feb. 14, 1987.
After the marriage, they settled in Stevens Point.
He was employed for the Soo Line Railroad until his retirement in 1988.
He was a member of American Legion Post 6.
Survivors include two sons, Lenny and Le Roy, both of Stevens Point; one daughter, Linda Eiden, Stevens Point; three brothers, Maurice (Kathleen), Wausau, Richard (Roberta), Price, Utah, and Henry Jr., Charlottesville, Va; one sister, Ruth (Ted) Schulfer, Stevens Point; and two grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by one brother.

Henry Eiden

     Henry Eiden married Anne (?) Henry Eiden was born on 2 September 1939 at Stevens Point, Portage Co, WI. He was the son of Henry Eiden and Virgina Precourt. Henry Eiden died on 8 April 2008 at Charlottesville, Charlottesville Co, VA, at age 68.

Lt. Colonel Henry J. Eiden
Retired USAF Lt. Colonel Henry 'Hank' J. Eiden died April 8, 2008, after a long illness.
He was born in Stevens Point on September 2, 1939.
Mr. Eiden joined the Air Force under 'Operation Boot Strap' becoming a navigator. He served with the Strategic Air Command at Wurtsmith AFB, Michigan. During this time, he attended Central Michigan University, graduating with a degree in mathematics in 1965. In 1968, Captain Eiden entered the Georgia Institute of Technology, completing a masters in mathematics and course work for a Ph.D. in computer science. Following his time at Georgia Tech, Major Eiden served as a Navigator aboard the C-130 Spectre gunship flying out of Ubon, Thailand from 1972 through 1973. After returning to the States, Major Eiden fulfilled orders with Electronic Systems Command at Hanscom AFB, Massachusetts from 1973 through 1978. During that period, Major Eiden spent a year in Birkenfeld, Germany. Lt. Colonel Eiden's last tour of duty as Deputy Director of Information Systems was served at Offutt AFB, Nebraska. Lt. Colonel Eiden's lengthy Air Force career included numerous awards including the USAF Distinguished Flying Cross, Air Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal, Air Force Longevity Service Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal and Vietnam Service Medal. In 1981, Lt. Colonel Eiden retired from the USAF and settled in Charlottesville, Virginia with his family.
During retirement, Hank was anything but retired. He was active in the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 114, and often could be found on his tractor tending to the Eiden property in Earlysville. In the mid-1980s, Mr. Eiden fulfilled his passion for the outdoors by re-opening a small Azalea nursery. As a way to continue supporting his country, Mr. Eiden founded Eiden Enterprises, Incorporated in 1981 to bring high skilled computer consulting to government agencies in the central Virginia area. The company, now known as Eiden Systems Corporation, continues to provide support to the Department of Defense, the Commonwealth of Virginia and various firms in Charlottesville.
Later in his life Mr. Eiden developed a strong interest in ballroom dancing. As part of a vision to establish Charlottesville as a central place for competitive dance instruction, Mr. Eiden opened Virginia DanceSport Academy. Until his illness, Virginia DanceSport Academy served to train Mr. Eiden and numerous Charlottesville dancers in preparation of dance competitions in the area.
Mr. Eiden was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Michael and Virginia Precourt Eiden of Stevens Point. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Fredrick Eiden and Robert Eiden.
He is survived by his children, Melanie Jo Eiden, Charlottesville; Michael Douglas Eiden, Charlottesville; Allison Marie Orta (Eiden), Pearland,Texas; Leslie Suzanne Eiden, Charlottesville; Henry Matthew Eiden, West New York, New Jersey; Elizabeth Anne Eiden, Oakland, California; two brothers, Maurice Eiden and Richard Eiden; and a sister, Mrs. Ruth Schulfer. Mr. Eiden is also survived by nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A viewing will held at Hill and Wood Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Monday, April 14, 2008. A funeral service will be held at Christ Episcopal Church at 11:30 a.m. Monday, April 14, 2008.
In recognition and honor of Mr. Eiden's distinguished military service to our country, burial services with full military honors will be held at 3 p.m. at Arlington National Cemetery on Wednesday, May 28, 200
