     Leo Falkiewicz was born on 20 October 1881.¹ He was the son of Michael Falkiewicz and Agatha Helminski. Leo Falkiewicz married Anna Kachalski on 22 October 1907 at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Stevens Point, Portage Co, WI.²

     Leo Falkiewicz, 522 Smith Street, age 55, died suddenly this morning at St. Michael's Hospital, 16 minutes after he had arrived there with a doctor to have x-ray pictures of his stomach taken. His death was attributed to a heart attack. Mr. Falkiewicz fainted while momentarily standing in front of a cloakroom door on the first floor, while the doctor was hanging up his hat. He was prevented from falling by the doctor and a nurse who was passing, was place in a wheel chair and taken to a room. Mr. Falkiewicz regained consciousness for a short time, but his condition then became worse and he died at 7:46 o'clock. He had been in ill health at his home for the past six weeks, part of which time he was confined to bed. A lifelong resident of Stevens Point, Mr. Falkiewicz was born on October 20, 1881, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael Falkiewicz. For the past 24 years he had been employed as a grocery shipping clerk for the Copps company. His marriage to Miss Anna Kachelski of Stevens Point took place here on October 22, 1907. Mrs. Falkiewicz died on November 27, 1935. Surviving are two children, Agnes and Martin, both at home, and three brothers, Peter of Duluth, Frank, Franklin Street, and Joseph, Smith Street. Two brothers, Julius and Jack, preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Peter's Church and burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery. The body is at the family home where the rosary will be said this evening and Saturday and Sunday evenings at 7:30 o'clock.

Ball taxi line before his death.¹ He died on 4 April 1938 at 1015 4th Avenue, Stevens Point, Portage Co, WI, at age 32.¹ He was buried on 8 April 1938 at St. Peter's Cemetery, Stevens Point, Portage Co, WI.¹

     Margaret A. Falkiewicz was born circa 1927 at Portage Co, WI.¹ She was the daughter of Julius Falkiewicz and Florence Link.¹ Margaret A. Falkiewicz died before 15 July 2002.²

     Martha Falkiewicz was born on 19 December 1906 at Stevens Point, Portage Co, WI.¹ She was the daughter of Julius Falkiewicz and Laura Maslowski.

     Martin Falkiewicz was born on 29 July 1914 at Smith Street, Stevens Point, Portage Co, WI.² He was the son of Leo Falkiewicz and Anna Kachalski.¹ Martin Falkiewicz married Regina Stuczynski on 19 June 1939 at St. Mary of Mount Carmel, Fancher, Portage Co, WI.³ Martin Falkiewicz died on 14 June 1964 at age 49.³

     Michael Falkiewicz was born in 1848 at Prussia.^1,2 He was the son of Mathiae Walkiewicz and Catherine Gisicka.³ Michael Falkiewicz married Agatha Helminski after 1849. Michael and Agatha emigrated in 1873 aboard the America having departed from Bremen, Germany. Also listed on the passenger list was, Joseph. The ship arrived at the Port of New York on 28 Mar 1873.⁴ Michael Falkiewicz married Anna Wojtalewicz Blarek on 5 February 1894 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Polonia, Portage Co, WI.³ Michael Falkiewicz was employed by Rolnik, the Polish Weekly newspaper in 1896.⁵ In 1896 Michael was living at 309 North Third Street, Stevens Point, Portage Co, WI.⁵ He died on 23 May 1924 at Shantytown, Marathon Co, WI; According to his death record, Michael had come to Portage County circa 1873 and had been a resident of the Town of Sharon since circa 1906.¹

     Michael Falkiewicz, father of Assistant Chief of Police Frank Falkiewicz, died at his home at Shantytown in Sharon on Friday night at 11:30 o'clock. The funeral will be held Tuesday morning at Sacred Heart church at Polonia. He was 75 years of age and had spent 51 years of his life in Portage county, living in Stevens Point up to 15 years ago, when he moved to the farm on which he passed away. His wife died just a week before he passed away. Besides the local police officer, the following sons remain: Joseph, Jacob, Julius and Leo, all of Stevens Point, and Peter of Duluth.

He was buried on 27 May 1924 at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Polonia, Portage Co, WI.¹

     Peter Falkiewicz was born on 15 February 1884.¹ He was the son of Michael Falkiewicz and Agatha Helminski. On 26 May 1924 Peter was living in Duluth, St. Louis Co, MN.² He died on 2 January 1957 at St. Louis Co, MN, at age 72.³

     Raymond Joseph Falkiewicz was born on 11 November 1917 at 1015 4th Avenue, Stevens Point, Portage Co, WI.² He was the son of Julius Falkiewicz and Laura Maslowski.¹ On 14 September 1937 Raymond was living at 1015 4th Avenue, Stevens Point, Portage Co, WI.³ On 4 January 1961 Raymond was living in Neenah, Winnebago Co, WI.⁴

     Regina Falkiewicz was born circa 1900 at Portage Co, WI.¹ She was the daughter of Joseph Falkiewicz and Josephine Lewandewska.¹

     Richard Falkiewicz was born on 11 May 1918 at 320 Franklin Street, Stevens Point, Portage Co, WI.^1,2 He was the son of Frank Falkavage and Lucy Doberstein.¹ Richard Falkiewicz appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Stevens Point, Portage Co, WI in the household of his parents, Frank Falkavage and Lucy Doberstein.³ Richard Falkiewicz married Edna Wanta on 5 July 1941 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Polonia, Portage Co, WI.⁴ Richard Falkiewicz died in March 1978 at age 59.⁵

     Robert F. Falkiewicz was born circa January 1926 at Portage Co, WI.¹ He was the son of Julius Falkiewicz and Florence Link.¹ Robert F. Falkiewicz died before 15 July 2002.²

     Tillie Falkiewicz was born on 16 July 1911 at 521 Smith Street, Stevens Point, Portage Co, WI.¹ She was the daughter of Leo Falkiewicz and Anna Kachalski.

     Anna Mae Fay was born on 31 August 1885 at WI.^1,2,3,4 She married Henry Richard Isherwood, son of James Isherwood and Almirette Taylor, on 21 September 1904 at Portage Co, WI.¹ Anna Mae Fay died on 13 June 1960 at Banks Hospital, St. Louis, St. Louis Co, MO, at age 74.¹ She was buried on 17 June 1960 at Oak Lawn Cemetery, St. Louis, St. Louis Co, MO.¹

Mrs. Henry Isherwood

Funeral services were held last Friday morning at the Lupton Funeral Home at St. Louis, Mo., for Mrs. Henry Isherwood of St. Louis, who died at Banks Hospital there last Monday, June 13. Burial was made in Oak Lawn Cemetery at St. Louis.

Mrs. Isherwood, formerly of Plainfield, had been a resident of St. Louis for many years.

She was the former Anna Fay, daughter of the late C. J. Fay and Mrs. Fay, who lives at St. Petersburg, Fla. She was born on Aug. 31, 1885, and was married on Sept. 21, 1904, to Henry Isherwood of Plover.

She is survived by her husband and a son, Robert, of St. Louis, and her mother and two brothers, Charles and George, at St. Petersburg.

She was preceded in death by her father and a sister. Mrs. Grace Grant of Plover, a sister of Mr. Isherwood, and Mr. and Mrs. Milvern Jacklin and Mr. and Mrs. Carrol Dakins, also of Plover, attended the funeral services at St. Louis.

     Mary Felckowska was born on 12 March 1890 at Portage Co, WI.² She was the daughter of Martin Felckowski and Catherine Isidor.³ Mary Felckowska was baptized on 16 March 1890 at St. Casimir Church, Town of Hull, Portage Co, WI.² She married Bronislaus Guzman on 11 January 1909 at St. Casimir Church, Town of Hull, Portage Co, WI.¹

     Mary Felckowska married Stephen Kuklinski on 9 May 1892 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Polonia, Portage Co, WI.¹
